It's time to begin Marvelous March! Watch in amazement as your child 'marches' into a whole new period of learning. They are capable of so much and are excited to discover their academic and social growth.  Refer to the Virginia Standards of Learning booklets, newletters, and information online as a means to help your child.  Try some of the fun and educational links posted on this site.  Miss Cerkez's  EDK site is loaded with ideas that all of the Kindergarteners can use. Be sure to check it out.

Extra Practice

Homework helps students  establish good work habits and meet with more success, especially in reading and math skills. Thank you for continuing to show an interest.   Let's focus on skip counting by 10s and 5s; addition and subtraction number stories; counting to 70+; reading and writing numbers to 70  and higher; and sight word recognition.
